大台南會展中心是商展的搶手熱點
台南三井OUTLET今年初啟用後，大受歡迎，台灣三井不動產董事長久一康洋宣布將啟動第二期規劃，台南市長黃偉哲表示歡迎，直言三井加碼投資，是看準了台南沙崙的發展潛力。沙崙智慧綠能科學城截至10月已有90家公私機構進駐，大台南會展中心啟用後，更進一步帶動當地商業人潮，加上成大的沙崙醫療服務與創新園區計畫啟動，未來的南關線新豐區，可望成為生醫科技發展重鎮，發展看俏。
沙崙K12雙語學校今年動土，預計114年完工
沙崙智慧綠能科學城和南科，是台南經濟發展雙引擎。沙崙科學城周邊有中研院南部分院、工研院南部分院及國研院，另有陽明交通大學及成大等2所頂尖大學分部，還有台灣智駕測試實驗室等7個國家級研究中心/實驗室，加上民間企業陸續進駐，串聯產、官、學、研，成為智慧綠能產業創新生態系，截至今年10月，已經有90家公私機構進駐，衍生投資額超過27億元。
耗資20億打造的大台南會展中心，鄰近高鐵台南站，建築風格以鯤鯓造型屋頂，搭配斑駁歷史感的古蹟紅牆，獲得行政院第21屆金質獎、2019國家卓越建設獎等獎項。
沙崙智慧綠能科學城目前已有90家產官學研單位進駐
此外，今年3月宣布落腳沙崙的成功大學「沙崙醫療服務與創新園區」，將是全台第一處以醫療服務結合人工智慧與大數據分析的園區，全力布局下一世代「精準醫療」，能讓新豐區每萬人平均一般病床數提高至160%，弭平醫療資源落差，未來服務可望擴及南科、善化、新市、永康甚至北高雄。
台南市府在沙崙周邊佈鋪路網，2021年完成高發三路銜接南154線聯絡道路，往北可直通歸仁市區；歸仁十三路延伸道路，往東則可直達關廟區；台86線大潭交流道往高鐵匝道拓寬延伸道路也在今年5月完工通車，提升交通運行效能，減輕尖峰時段交通壅塞的問題，帶動觀光、旅遊及產業發展。加上沙崙K12雙語學校也將落成啟用，未來周邊的機能將更加提升，讓沙崙與國際接軌。
