國寶級畫家施並錫捐贈「林秋梧畫像」 臺文館珍寶再+1

臺文館昨（15）日舉行捐贈感謝儀式，由臺文館館長林巾力親自頒贈感謝狀，感謝國寶級畫家施並錫捐贈其所創作的林秋梧油畫一幅。畫作以年輕的林秋梧在開元寺講述詩句「願同弱少鬥強權」為場景，展現林秋梧積極奮進的性格，與勇於發聲的態度。
臺文館館長林巾力致詞時表示，妥善修復及保存文物是臺文館的重要任務之一，臺文館將會盡可能發揮創意，讓捐贈者們慷慨分享的文學資產走出庫房，成為全民都能看見、感受的珍貴禮物。

曾為舅公撰作《臺灣革命僧林秋梧》、現為臺北教育大學臺灣文化研究所名譽教授的李筱峰分享林秋梧其人與文學，也吟唱畫中詩句，全場讚聲不絕。他指出「願同弱少鬥強權」出於詩作〈贈青年僧伽〉，充分展現林秋梧入世、解放的宗教態度。
曾任中華民國油畫協會監事、臺灣師範大學美術學系教授的畫家施並錫則親自分享創作理念。他談到畫作中以部分群眾象徵眾多群眾聽講，襯托出容光煥發的主角林秋梧。他曾繪製二二八、莫那魯道等事件與人物，都是希望透過有形的畫作傳承無形的前人精神。他也笑說，慶幸成品完成時李筱峰教授認為神態有像舅公。

林秋梧出生於1903年，是臺灣文化協會成員，是僧人，也是詩人。曾在詩句中發出「可憐十萬頭顱血，空換青天白日旗」等不平之鳴。就讀臺灣總督府國語學校師範部（今國立臺北教育大學）時，參與臺北師範學潮事件受牽連，在畢業前夕遭到退學。曾與莊松林、林占鰲、盧丙丁等創辦左翼刊物《赤道報》，擔任發行人兼總編輯，提倡宗教改革，反對普度運動。1934年因肺結核結束短暫而璀璨的一生。
