台南市交通局重整永安路標線 減少阻塞事故提昇交通安全

台南市交通局重整永安路標線。
台南市永康區永安路拓寬工程於去年12月完工通車，不過地方上有人反映永安路與台一線中正北路交會路口汽機車有爭道嚴重的問題，容易產生事故非常危險，因此今日交通局在通車後觀察用路人使用情形，並蒐集各方意見後重新檢討車道配置，台一線中正北路與永安路路口南向路段，改以行向分流方式調整標線，並在車道上游增設車道預告標誌，請用路人依行車方向提前變換車道，減少路口車流交織的交通安全問題。
交通局王銘德局長指出，為解決永安路大量的左轉機車通行需要，永安路拓寬後，最初採用各縣市經常使用的道路規劃與交通管制方式，於最外側車道設置機車左轉專用道，並搭配號誌獨立時相管控，其目的是為了讓左轉機車有專屬的空間和時間可通行，以減少和直行及右轉車輛產生交織衝突的危險情形。

但在通車後觀察發現，用路人常未能依照指向線提前分流，或因不熟悉新的車道配置及號誌管制方式，在接近路口時才驚覺未騎乘於正確的車道上而驟然變換車道，亦有部分用路人是在機車左轉專用時相綠燈還未亮燈時就搶快左轉，反而影響該路口的行車安全與秩序，考量該路口號誌永安路行車方向已採輪放方式管控，且左轉車流量佔了8成左右，評估後決定以行向方分流方式重新調整車道配置，以改善目前衍生的交織問題。
交通管制科科長方川和表示，調整後永安路於路口處新的車道配置為內側3個左轉專用道車道，外2車道配置為直左車道、外1車道配置為直右車道，依照新的標線機車可利用中間及外2車道直接左轉，並依照號誌燈號指示即可安全通行，而交通局也將在永安路的上游路段增設相關的車道預告標誌，提醒用路人遵循行駛正確的車道，確保行車的安全，另提醒永安路大型車輛較多，左轉機車應循序漸進，不要與大型車輛併行左轉，以維護自身騎乘安全。
