南科特定區L、M區聯外道路目加溜灣大道及西拉雅大道，長期因交通頻繁造成路面不平引發民怨。市長黃偉哲帶領工務局爭取到近1億元經費進行兩條道路改善工程，目加溜灣大道已於去年6月順利完成路平，西拉雅大道因配合台電161KV山上到三抱竹管線布設工程，延至今終於也完成路平改善；兩條大道都加強了鋪面的耐久性平坦美觀，更用「人本交通」設計概念，大大提升路口優化的人行空間環境，同時調整號誌標線的劃設，維護用路人與通學路徑的安全。
西拉雅大道完成改善
工務局表示，南科發展已成為臺南市重要經濟城鎮，道路開闢與品質提升更是經濟發展不可或缺的主要條件。其中為提升重要聯外道路目加溜灣與西拉雅大道的道路品質，經市府鍥而不捨的向中央爭取經費，終於獲得營建署前瞻計畫核定經費3950萬及6200萬元，一次性推動善化區目加溜灣大道及新市區西拉雅大道提升道路品質計畫工程，進行基底層、道路、排水系統及人行環境改善。
善化區目加溜灣大道長度2.5公里、寬25公尺，已於111年6月底完工；新市區西拉雅大道是來往南科、特定區L、M區及周邊社區的主要聯絡道，長度2.6公里、寬50公尺，因配合臺電161KV山上~三竹管線布設明挖工程，西拉雅大道改善工程開工時，先就臺19甲線跨西拉雅陸橋段道路刨鋪，及省道路口行人與自行車空間進行改善，等臺電西拉雅陸橋至臺1線段初步工程完竣後，在地方及施工團隊合力積極配合下，立即採夜間施工進行臺19甲線路口段道路鋪設瀝青，終於今（112）年1月中旬完工並開放通車；另外，與西拉雅大道交叉的陽光大道及善新大道路口，因配合地方意見將調整號誌標線劃設，以加強維護人行安全，預計3月底前可以全部完善提升道路品質。
