因應本土接續出現零星的猴痘疫情之後，疾管署也擴大開放感染高風險族群接種疫苗；因搶預約接種情況踴躍，疾管署增購1萬瓶疫苗昨晚抵台，可供3萬人次接種，預計4月15日前即可開放登記和接種。
3月21日下午3時，疾管署開放猴痘疫苗意願登記平台，但開放僅9分鐘，3000個名額就已登記滿，今羅一鈞也提到，預計4月15日前可以完成第二階段預約登記開打，詳細預約時程將於4月6日記者會上公布。
猴痘病毒是經接觸傳染，疾管署開放「近6個月內曾有高風險性行為」如性病患者、多重性伴侶、性交易服務者、於營業場所發生性行為者等，可到「猴痘疫苗接種意願登記平台」進行接種暴露前預防（PrEP）疫苗意願登記。但預約情況非常踴躍，上週開放僅9分鐘，3000名額就已經約滿，暫時關閉平台，預約的民眾以台北市最多。
