哥倫比亞在哪裡?有什麼特別新奇好玩的文化?移民署南區事務大隊屏東縣服務站結合策略聯盟學校屏東大學，於近日舉辦多元文化宣導活動「哥倫比亞VS臺灣 大不同」。邀請哥倫比亞籍新住民羅喆向應用英文系的同學介紹家鄉文化，同時分享哥倫比亞傳統美食arepa與natilla，還體驗桌遊小遊戲Rnan。以寓教於樂方式推廣多元文化，提升同學國際視野，讓同學人在教室也能用「心」暢遊哥倫比亞。
移民署屏東縣服務站首次結合屏東大學應用英文系共同舉辦，由羅喆以簡單易懂的英文搭配西班牙文教學，向同學介紹哥倫比亞人的食、衣、住、行。哥倫比亞因為地勢高低不同，城市間氣候差異大，不像臺灣一樣四季分明，全年只有雨季及非雨季之差。另外，哥倫比亞人愛跳舞，輕快的騷莎舞及倫巴舞是大眾的最愛，藉由跳舞釋放壓力，是哥倫比亞人的小小快樂。而舉世聞名的阿拉比卡咖啡豆就是產自哥倫比亞，因為地勢及天氣讓咖啡果實生長時間較長，進而形成細緻豐富的風味，當地人還會加入由甘蔗提煉的糖磚，味道甜而不膩。

羅喆分享家鄉味咖啡，以及手作美食arepa與natilla。arepa是一種玉米餅，屬於哥倫比亞的平民美食，而natilla是由玉米澱粉、奶油、肉桂及檸檬製成的糕點，讓同學品嚐異國美食的同時，加深對於哥倫比亞文化的認識。屏東大學應用英文系主任潘怡靜表示，現在是地球村時代，臺灣這塊土地包含非常多的資源，越來越國際化，新住民的語言及文化也是臺灣的珍寶之一。很高興能和移民署共同舉辦這麼豐富的課程，不僅提升同學學習外語的樂趣，也能體驗到難得的哥倫比亞傳統美食及遊戲。
屏東縣服務站站主任武淑賢表示，移民署致力於推廣多元文化，培育新住民及新二代，希望能藉由多元文化宣導活動，提升民眾對不同文化的理解與認識。本次活動獲得師生們好評，未來將增加相關課程，搭配不同國家主題，提供更多元與國際化的交流。另外移民署推動「擴大逾期停(居)留外來人口自行到案專案」，期間符合專案資格的「自行到案」者，免收容、繳最低逾期罰鍰新臺幣2,000元，且不管制禁止入國期間，專案即將在6月30日截止，呼籲民眾鼓勵逾期外來人口儘快自行到案。
