「向中集團」創立於1998年，由董事長陳遵行白手起家。年輕時，偶然與朋友談論到是否一同創業，創立一個五金零件產品，由陳董負責製造，陳董友人負責買賣。不料，友人卻直接將陳董的專利拿走，促使陳董獨自往上爬，一路上不是很順遂，中間也曾遇人不俗被他人設計，還有股東退股的情形，但陳董並沒有因此打退堂鼓，他不斷地創新及研發，創造出高科技、高靈敏的五金和門窗產品。
向中集團總部在台灣，其他國家也有設立子公司，個別分布在德國、英國、美國、中國和俄羅斯，其中的德國子公司旗下尚有13家子公司，出口50多個國家，提供20種不同的語言服務客戶。
主要品牌為VITA、Elite、Schüring、Türguard和Älsace，其中德國百年五金品牌Schüring，藉由其在歐洲門窗五金界的優勢，不再侷限於門窗五金上，更將該品牌拓展為全方位通路品牌。首波主打e-bike電輔車，期望開拓不同領域的市場。堅持國際化產品認證，帶給顧客高品質的產品保障。

白手起家的陳遵行董事長，創立初期從7個人的團隊開始，漸漸擴大資本額，並且與歐洲五金零件大廠合作，由於團隊的努力之下，產品品質符合歐洲大廠之國際標準，深獲好評，也陸續通過ISO9001、BBA、CE、UL、DIN、PIV、SKG和IFT等國際品質認證。
2000年在英國設立VITA子公司，並榮獲了台灣精品與超過500項專利，爾後也在大陸成立工廠，在台灣成立Älsace品牌並代理德國/瑞士歐式門窗，注入新科技產出節能門窗。至今也併購了德國知名公司Schüring和五金生產廠Selve，在泰國也成立了生產基地，這期間也榮獲第一屆中堅企業及IF設計獎，今年則是設立玻璃封裝線，讓產品不僅節能方便，也創造更安全更舒適的生活環境。

一般台式鋁門窗型材質為單一鋁擠型材，使得室外熱源會透過門窗導致室內悶熱，而家中的室內冷氣運轉，更是耗電。Älsace門窗具有隔熱斷橋的功能，將室外與室內鋁框料隔開，不同於台式門窗只單一提升玻璃，換湯不換藥是不會有改變的；Älsace是連旁邊的鋁框都精心設計過，讓溫度無法透過鋁框傳導。
玻璃上也是採用歐規中空覆層玻璃，使用節能塑料暖邊條，可完全隔斷室內外玻璃間的熱傳導；再者，中空層灌裝惰性氣體，比起台灣中空覆層玻璃所使用的乾燥空氣，有更好的隔熱性、隔音性。且惰性氣體不含水氣，中空層內不會因溫度變化而產生水滴。
不論是做超大門扇，或者是觀景窗都是沒有問題的，強調輕盈、好推動、方便，更重要的是環保又節能。在門窗的五金零件上的細節也不放過，像是排水功能不必擔心，採用歐規引流工法，不會有淹水的問題，門鎖上採用多段式，以及隱藏式鎖點，不易被撬開，方便又具質感的歐式門窗，交給Älsace絕對是品質保證。
