2023台南國際芒果節今(22)日於走馬瀨農場正式開跑 ，市長黃偉哲、農糧署長胡忠一、外贸協會主任周秀芬、日本水上町町長阿部賢一、議長石坂武等來賓一同歡魔芒果季關跑及端午節慶，現場祭出芒果甜粽龍舟並分送芒果冰與民眾同享盛夏美味。今年台南芒果產量與品質水準都維持全國最佳，邀請民眾把握時節品嘗，也期盼今年芒果外銷量再創佳績。

2023台南國際芒果節今日起將陸續在走馬瀨農場、玉井公有零售市場、南化里天后宮、左鎮驛站、楠西鹿田里江家古厝、官田渡拔青果市場和大內公有市場等重要芒果產區舉行，今(22)日於走馬瀨農場舉辦開幕活動，現場嘉賓包括農糧署長胡忠一、外贸協會主任周秀芬、日本群馬縣水上町町長阿部賢一、議長石坂武、立法委員郭國文、賴惠員、陳亭妃，市議員尤榮智、許至椿、吳通龍、林志展、陳秋宏、周奕齊、陳怡珍、周嘉韋等貴賓，都一同出席歡慶芒果季開跑及端午節。

黃偉哲表示，今年台南的芒果長成階段碰到降雨，也讓今年台南芒果的產量、品質都維持了一樣的高水準，品質與產量都是全國第一，芒果節開幕更碰到端午節，非常熱鬧。他邀請國內民眾把握時節品嘗優質的台南芒果，也期盼今年的芒果外銷量能夠再創新高。

與台南友好協定10周年的日本群馬縣水上町也來台參加芒果節活動，町長阿部賢一肯定台南水果在日本的高人氣。阿部表示，水上町與台南締結友好城市以來，在觀光、農業、教育等領域都持續有良好互動，從包括台南等地進口的台灣水果人氣也持續攀升，進口數量也持續增加，目前水上町每年進口的芒果數量已達到3噸。逢兩城市締結友好10周年，阿部除了親自出席今年的台南芒果節活動，也表示要策畫由水上町居民組成的旅遊團，造訪台南。

今日恰逢端午佳節，主辦單位在開幕典禮準備了一大盤「芒果粽」，黃偉哲市長與多位與會貴賓一起為芒果粽淋上鮮甜芒果醬，除了應景端午節，也為今年的芒果產季與芒果節活動拉開序幕。黃偉哲也在現場與民眾一起品嘗、採購芒果冰棒、芒果鮮果以及各種在地農特產品，支持在地農特產。
