「端午驅五毒•孳清病媒除」臺南總動員守健康
臺南市仁德區於6月12日出現今年首例本土登革熱個案，至今已累計4區20餘例。近來，又因連日降雨與氣溫漸趨酷熱、蚊蟲易孳生，進而爆發傳染現象。為減緩病媒蚊傳播、讓登革熱之危害降到最低，臺南市37區於6月22日進行全市總動員，加強孳生源清除及環境巡檢，在以「驅五毒」為習俗的端午佳節連假，全員出動進行大規模孳清，守護市民健康。
市長黃偉哲強調「防疫無假期」，並於今（22）早8點至仁德區二空郵局與民眾共同進行環境巡查、社區清消等防治作業
市長黃偉哲強調「防疫無假期」，並於今（22）早8點至仁德區二空郵局與民眾共同進行環境巡查、社區清消等防治作業；葉副市長澤山至東區成大公園參與動員清潔日、趙副市長卿惠也至永康區大橋里活動中心參與孳清活動；市府民政局、環保局、衛生局、工務局、市場處等局處，亦派員至各區進行稽查宣導。黃偉哲表示，本土登革熱首例居住於仁德區，其住家週遭熱區已築起防火牆進行區域聯防，因應4天端午連假，臺南市湧入大批觀光人潮，為降低疫情散播可能，全市37區全面啟動社區動員孳生源清除，不放過每個可能孳生病媒蚊的角落。
民政局長姜淋煌指出，民政局責成37區公所於6月22日上午開始全面動員孳清，由政府與地方志工攜手消滅登革熱，全民共同維護無蚊家園。姜淋煌也呼籲市民朋友，除應盡快清除孳生源、加強防蚊措施，也應注意多穿著長袖衣物並噴防蚊液，避免遭到蚊子叮咬。
