《百里侯》許忠信宣布參選台南市長 競選總部主委前台南縣長蘇煥智出任

台南市長選戰越來越熱鬧，前台灣團結聯盟立委、成功大學法律系教授許忠信14日宣布參選台南市長，這是他第二次角逐百里侯，而且還找來上次參選的競爭對手、前台南縣長蘇煥智擔任競選總部主委，許忠信說，4年來他一直關注台南發展，這次捲土重來，希望能凝聚藍綠以外的本土力量，成為新的制衡力量。

許忠信說，上次參選台南市長雖然只拿下4萬5168票，但當時說過有機會將再捲土重來，這幾年來在成大教書，同時看到台南各項發展遲緩和困境，讓他決定再度參選，這1個多月都在市場、黃昏市場及夜市奔走拜票。

日前許忠信出席台灣民眾黨提名的永康區市議員參選人江品璁與立委蔡璧如聯合服務處成立，許忠信說他十分肯定柯文哲在台北市的表現，並與民眾黨有合作關係，他期待民眾黨提名的6名市議員參選人可以多當選一點，在市議會組成黨團監督市政，年輕人進入改變政治環境，南市才有追上台北、台中的機會。
而許忠信表示，自己在台南長期受到本土派選民支持，因此不會加入民眾黨，更不可能與加入國民黨市長參選人謝龍介所提的「在野大聯盟」扯上關係，將以無黨籍身分努力；4年前的競爭對手蘇煥智人在台北，他也以視訊推薦、力挺，認為在藍綠兩大黨之外，台灣需要集結更多本土力量來形成制衡，因此他支持許忠信參選也願意相挺。

許忠信是英國劍橋大學財經法學博士、成大法律系財經法教授，學識素養專業，他表示自己會發揮專長貢獻台南，解決台南低薪、高房價、年輕人不敢婚不敢生的問題，提升人民生活。
這次許的選戰主軸以「創新、知識、文化、科技」做為全球視野的國際架構，許忠信指出，他要用台南天賦創造工作機會與人民所得，不是用口水去創造這一切，希望能夠為台南產業發展創造無限的可能。
