我們的大腦天生具有一項祕密武器，能幫我們處理情緒，那就是催產素，一種哺乳動物擁有的神經垂體激素，又擁有「擁抱荷爾蒙」的美名。催產素能搭起人與人的信任、建立情感的聯繫，並降低壓力，還可以減少生理的疼痛與心理的疼痛。根據研究顯示，當我們主動對他人釋放善意以及信任時，對方接受到我們的友善後，大腦會釋放催產素，讓對方也浮現「想要付出」以及「給予信任」，如此溫暖相待的心境。當我們被對方友好對待時，腦中也會自然產生催產素（Zak, 2018）。所以，當工作讓我們惴惴不安時，良好的人際互動能分泌催產素，讓我們體會到「這就是愛啊！」感覺。
良好的人際互動能幫助大腦分泌催產素。
另一種情況時，當我們站在對方的角度替對方著想、表達出自己的同理心時，自己的大腦也會自發產生催產素(Barraza & Zak, 2009)。這就人與人之間相處的奧秘。我們對他人友善，對方也會有所回應，雙方在互相理解的關係下，一起受到催產素的影響，幫助我們願意親近他人，同理別人的想法，創造良好人際關係。催產素的存在讓在職場中日漸蒼白的自己散發出「人性」的溫暖光輝！
