一名網友昨（15）日將一張違停紙板遮住車牌照片PO到臉書社團「屏東縣潮州鎮」，引起網友熱烈討論，因為該路段早就有「科技執法」，做這個動作前車牌早就被錄，不少網友紛紛留言表示「潮州天兵一枚」、「乾脆牌照拔掉就好了不用遮掩」，還有不少網友說把車貼成這樣讓人聯想到殭屍，「這是殭屍手遊代言宣傳車」。
影片中車主大費周章想逃過被拍照檢舉，不但拿了超大片的紙板將車牌遮住，並將車廂開啟，試圖避免被拍照檢舉。
潮州警方表示紙板遮蔽號牌，警方依法取締，經查該部遮蔽號牌車輛為15日16時29分許停放，經調閱監視器畫面，已鎖定車號，並將依法舉發，在此呼籲駕駛人勿心存僥倖，遮蔽號牌規避交通稽查，或從事不法行為，本分局將持續列為執法重點加強攔檢取締。
道路交通管理處罰條例第13條規定「車輛行駛中，損毀或變造牌照、塗抹污損牌照，或以安裝其它器具之方式，使不能辨識其牌號」，可處2,400元至4,800元罰鍰。
