屏東市和生市場賭客賭性堅強，竟在人來人往的市場內把玩九仔生，屏東警分局於本(12)月28日11時許查獲林姓莊家(男、74歲)及其餘賭客等10人聚賭，現場查扣撲克牌、骰子等賭具及賭資共計新臺幣1,550元等證物，全案依刑法賭博罪移送偵辦。

日前警方獲報在屏東市和生市場內疑似有人把玩「九仔生」賭博，經屏東警分局探訪人員埋伏探查，於本(12)月28日成立專案小組前往查緝到案，該賭場主持人利用鬧市藏身，警方到場喝斥「不要動！」，現場莊家及賭客等10多人當場傻眼，該賭場利用市場人流量大作為掩護，也利用市場結束時間聚賭把玩。
屏東警分局長方秋梅表示，林姓莊家利用防疫及聖誕節勤務警力較為吃緊期間經營賭場，然治安工作一刻也不得鬆懈，法律也沒有假期，故本分局在防疫期間仍積極投入治安工作，不讓僥倖之徒有機可趁，此次再次查獲賭場，也還給民眾一個乾淨、清新的社區環境。
