穿上鎮暴服的印度比哈爾邦警方26日在加雅市的火車站巡邏。
印度北方邦和比哈爾邦因鐵路公司徵才風波引發連續三天暴動，指控鐵路公司徵才有弊端的應徵者肉身阻擋火車通行，且縱火焚燒車廂。
鐵路公司是印度最大雇主，此次開了3萬5000個職缺，竟收到超過1000萬人應徵。但應徵者指控召募過程不透明，缺失很多，而且讓不同條件的人彼此競爭並不公平。
應徵青年的挫折轉為憤怒，釀成暴力示威。一名在比哈爾邦參加示威的男性說：「我們是大學畢業生，我們沒有工作，我們很餓。不要在我們的肚子上補一腳。」
鐵路公司暫停召募作業，威嚇示威者從此將無法再獲得應徵資格，警方亦出動平亂，用警棍毆打示威者及對空鳴槍。
