東港警分局東港派出所於111年5月3日9時13分許獲報在東港鎮興東路有民眾機車遭破壞毀損，警方獲報後立即前往發現報案人所有普重機車，機車鑰匙孔遭破壞毀損。

警方表示，經檢視現場發現除報案人陳女所有機車遭破壞外，尚有其他車輛亦遭人毀損，共計有5部機車均遭相同手法破壞機車鑰匙孔，疑欲竊取置物箱財物，警方非常重視該案，為求慎重起見，東港分局將依查訪及調閱相關路口監視器等相關事證釐清案情，目前已掌握特定對象，正積極偵辦中，另警方將加強該區域巡守，避免再有是類情事發生。
東港分局呼籲：警方絕不容許不法分子挑戰警方執法決心，影響社會治安！東港分局將持續加強防制轄內各類不法犯罪，對於違法情事，絕對依法究辦，絕不寬貸。
