台灣棒球好手陽岱鋼加盟美國獨立聯盟球隊，今天首戰首打席就敲安。(翻攝照片)台灣棒球好手陽岱鋼結束15年的旅日職棒生涯，今年毅然前往美國展開全新挑戰，選擇加入「美國協會聯盟」獨立聯盟發展，他加盟新軍「湖國碼頭犬」（Lake Country Dockhounds），脫下昔日巨人隊球衣，換上藍色新裝亮相，今天是球季首場賽事，他擔任先發第二棒，鎮守熟悉的外野位置，首打席就敲出安打，也跑回隊史第一分。
陽岱鋼擊出右外野平飛安打後，先靠著投手暴投上到2壘，隊友接著敲出安打將他送回本壘得分，接下來3個打席中領到2張老K，靠著一次野手選擇上壘，最後湖國碼頭犬首戰作客以4-8輸給主場的密爾瓦基牛奶人，除了賽事內容外，陽岱鋼新球隊的球衣也引發網友關注，有網友說，該隊客場球衣配色跟設計很秒，有種休閒風，比起棒球更像是在打槌球的人穿的。
陽岱鋼旅日15年，先後加入日本火腿、讀賣巨人，去年走完與巨人5年合約，雖然球隊仍有續約意願，到考慮到近年在一軍上場機會不多，陽岱鋼決定轉往新環境，前往美國獨立聯盟打球，尋找新機會。

35歲的陽岱鋼在「湖國碼頭犬」這支新球隊中無論是職棒經歷還是年紀都是老大哥，球隊希望藉著他的名氣及經驗，讓球隊實力及球迷人數都能有所增長，球團老闆也說，「如果不能打進季後賽將會很失望。」
雖然是新環境，但陽岱鋼並不孤單，另一位來自台灣的「學弟」鄭浩鈞因為被道奇隊釋出，也加盟「湖國碼頭犬」等待機會，兩人可以一起奮鬥；陽岱鋼在巨人時期年薪有3億日幣，轉戰獨立聯盟月薪不到20萬日幣，相當於台幣4萬，跟一般普通上班族差不多，但他仍然會享受棒球。
