兒童疫苗首日預約施打 台南市長黃偉哲親往關切
台南市在24日接獲中央BNT疫苗，今（25）日即在相關醫療院所供兒童預約施打，市長黃偉哲上午特別前往歸仁區德安診所，關心學童首日接種情形；黃偉哲指出，台南疫苗施打量能足、家長們可透過「台南打疫苗」平台預約、停課不停學期間於醫院診所登記施打、恢復上課後則會安排到校施打。
近日國內陸續發生學童確診後轉為重症個案，台南市長黃偉哲說，目前台南國中、小停課不停學期間，可預約至醫療院所接種疫苗，等恢復實體上課後，將安排在校施打疫苗。他也籲請讓學童儘早接種疫苗、儘早得到保護力。

台南市5歲至11歲戶籍人口數逾11萬人，扣除之前有意願接種莫德納疫苗者2.7萬人，此次中央5月24日撥配3.3萬劑BNT疫苗、5月27日則預計撥配2.1萬劑BNT，等於中央撥補給台南的BNT疫苗總數為5.4萬劑，陸續在預約平台開出。
依據衛生福利部網站指出，目前我國食品藥物管理署已核准Moderna (莫德納) COVID-19疫苗及Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19兒童劑型疫苗，可用於兒童接種，經衡酌國內外疫情、疫苗臨床試驗安全性及有效性數據及各國推動情形，建議接種2劑基礎劑。

另依衛生福利部傳染病防治諮詢會預防接種組 (ACIP) 建議，兩劑接種間隔至少4週（28天），衡量接種間隔拉長，可能有助於疫苗免疫力提升與可能降低罕見心肌炎/心包膜炎不良事件發生風險，建議兒童及青少年，兩劑接種間隔以12週為原則。
