屏東縣昨日新增2623例本土確診個案，由於家長帶小朋友施打輝瑞兒童疫苗（BNT）踴躍，全縣33個鄉鎮市衛生所自26日起至28日上午均提供兒童輝瑞疫苗施打服務，5月27日至29日在屏東火車站加開輝瑞兒童疫苗施打站，隨到隨打，紓解接種人潮。縣府強調，中央配撥疫苗量充足，衛生局會視醫療院所施打情形補撥疫苗，5月30日起亦會安排進校園施打，請家長勿需恐慌。
同時，為提升長輩疫苗施打率及覆蓋率，至6月30日前，屏東縣65歲以上長輩、55歲以上原住民，打疫苗就送2劑快篩，施打1、2、3、4劑提供500元禮券措施也同步延長至6月30日。
衛生局表示，65歲以上為中重症高危險群，請未完成疫苗接種長者儘速施打疫苗。統計至5月26日，本縣65歲以上長者疫苗施打率，第一劑85.16%，第二劑79.74%，第一次追加劑68.48%，第二次追加劑22.93%；55歲以上原住民疫苗施打率，第一劑83.26%，第二劑75.65%，第一次追加劑57.07%，第二次追加劑6.37%。
5-11歲輝瑞兒童疫苗5月25日開打，第一天計有2025人接種，縣府26日請各鄉鎮衛生所加入施打服務，但各院所皆出現人潮，衛生局建議家長可先至衛生局官網查詢各疫苗門診開診時間，分流接種，避免人潮壅塞久候；27日至29日連續三天在屏東火車站開設輝瑞兒童疫苗施打站，30日起也展開校園施打作業，中央撥配的疫苗量充足，請家長不要焦急。
另為優先照顧學齡前幼童（6歲以下），經中央流行疫情指揮中心規劃兒童專屬綠色通道（防疫門診），建立專用候診動線，由兒科專科醫生看診，目前屏東有國軍高雄總醫院屏東分院、高雄榮民總醫院屏東分院、東港安泰醫院等三家開設，時間分別為：國軍屏東每週六上午9:00-10:00，高榮屏東每週五上午09:00~10:30，安泰每日8:00至21:00開設急診兒童就醫綠色通道(8歲以下)，家長可多利用。
屏東北中南社區篩檢站自26日起轉型夜間防疫門診，包括屏東市國仁醫院、屏東基督教醫院、潮州茂隆骨科、東港安泰醫院、恆春南門醫院等五家，醫生判定、診療、給藥一站式服務。
快篩陽性即確診也自26日啟動，衛生局提醒民眾攜帶健保卡、快篩陽性檢體（密封），可採實地判斷（需事先和院所預約）及視訊診斷判定，經達成醫病共識陽性確診，即上傳通報，由醫生視病情開立藥物，採輕、重症分流收治。
