111年臺南16歲成年禮活動行前記者會

111年臺南16歲成年禮今日（7月19日）於安平開台天后宮舉辦記者會，由民政局局長姜淋煌、開台天后宮主委盧友禮、財團法人火山碧雲寺董事長陳清鏗、安平區長蕭泰華、白河區長董麗華、各民意代表及貴賓蒞臨參加，共同宣傳臺南傳統做16歲成年禮活動。
「做16歲」是臺南獨特的傳統習俗，為了發揚府城做十六歲的傳統文化，市府今年再度與寺廟做16歲習俗結合，以公私協力方式舉辦活動。活動分為溪北場和溪南場。溪北場訂於7月23日在白河火山碧雲寺舉辦健走活動，透過活動體驗培養青少年吃苦耐勞精神，象徵青少年不畏艱難，邁向高峰。廟方並精心設計時光走廊場景，藉由青蔥（聰明）、芹菜（勤學）、菜頭（好彩頭）等象徵性的祝福，向觀音佛祖行禮祈福及鑽轎底，期許學子們心想事成金榜題名，象徵智慧與文化的傳承。
溪南場訂於7月31日在安平開台天后宮舉辦，活動以「成功啟航~青春飛揚~府城百事大集」為主題。除遵循古禮科儀，更加入歷史沉浸式體驗，以讓學子了解在地歷史文化、富有教育意義方式，加入台南古都記憶的百年文物歷史體驗，讓參與成年禮的青少年搭船遊安平港，以「百年好河」、「百年王船」、「百年孤棚祭」及「建城400年」等4個元素，了解臺南及安平的歷史文化，並迎接臺南建城400年紀念。
市長黃偉哲表示，臺南是眾神之都，也是臺灣第一個城市，擁有超過1600家以上的寺廟，宗教文化結合傳統習俗與民眾生活兼容並蓄，臺南人做16歲的傳統習俗，本質也蘊涵著崇天敬神、飲水思源的意義，民間廟宇於七夕舉辦成年禮儀式，除祈求神明保佑孩子平安長大，也呈現了家庭對兒女成長的期盼，並建立青少年對自身及社會的責任感，是臺南自古以來別具特色的傳統節慶習俗。所以本次民政局將活動結合地方大廟，透過參拜祈福、古禮科儀、侍親敬茶、景點參訪、古道健走等兼具傳統與創意方式，讓青少年培養家庭倫理，瞭解生長環境，接觸在地文化，來完成臺南特有的成年禮。
民政局長姜淋煌表示，今年做16歲成年禮是首次在溪北場辦理，由白河區公所規劃碧雲火泉步道健走為活動主軸，不僅可強身健體，還可欣賞沿途豐富的山林生態，是瞭解在地環境的最佳戶外體驗，溪南場則強調以安平歷史沉浸式體驗為主軸，讓學子了解在地歷史文化，且富含親子教育意義方式，兩場成年禮活動各具特色，在多元的創意與體驗下，希望能讓參加成年禮的學子擁有充滿豐收的16歲禮物。
黃偉哲市長誠摯邀請青少年朋友踴躍報名參加，與家人親友共同分享生命成長的喜悅、為夢想啟航。也期許未來每一位青少年都能充分融入社會，以正向態度面對挑戰，勇於突破人生瓶頸，成為社會優質公民。
