暑假親子旅遊何處去？快來包山包海的嘉義消滅暑假光陰，不但是美食天堂，更擁有獨嘉景致好拍易到達，絕對療癒夏日煩悶，嘉義海線現正夯！搭漁筏跟著船長出海探險，其中人氣陳船長的「布袋海上巴士」有全台獨一無二搶灘無人島、超酷蛋糕沙灘和四億年活化石＂鱟＂，船上大啖肥美牛奶蚵；東石「外傘頂洲凱旋號」乘坐船筏至外傘頂洲耙野生蛤蜊、追和尚蟹及尋找＂移動中的消失國土＂，船上還有卡拉OK讓你大秀歌喉和超澎湃的海味buffet大餐，包準玩的開心、吃的開心、拍得滿意。

縣長翁章梁表示，近來積極推動親子生態旅遊，因為最好的教育就是帶孩子走出戶外親近大自然，從玩樂中學習友善環境的重要，嘉義縣不只有豐富動植物的山林生態，海洋生態則融合了教育與娛樂，再搭配嘉義縣團旅補助玩起來最划算。
陳船長的「布袋海上巴士」可以欣賞海上蚵田牧場、認識蚵養殖、品嚐海中牛奶蚵及老蚵，還有搶登無人島、從導覽中認識潮間帶生物（四大天王蟹）及一睹生存地球上超過四億年的活化石「鱟ㄏㄡˋ」，由於沙灘非常柔軟，因此被稱為蛋糕沙灘，巧思地將漂流木、蚵殼串、海洋廢棄物搭造成海上鞦韆等拍照打卡景點，不只讓廢棄物再利用，也已不增加海洋負擔方式創造景點特色。

乘東石「外傘頂洲凱旋號」探訪移動的國土，外傘頂洲是台灣沿海最大的沙洲，因形狀似傘得名，一望無際綿延的沙灘生態豐富，透過船長生動有趣的導覽，體驗採野生蚵、耙文蛤、追角眼沙蟹、和尚蟹，還能在船上邊卡拉OK邊享用廚師現煮的海鮮大餐，絕對能讓大小朋友玩得盡興，讓孩子愛上天然娛樂場域，近距離感受大自然的魔力，更珍惜腳下這逐年移動、恐消失的豐富潮間帶生態。
文化觀光局長許有仁提到，來布袋還能順遊觀光魚市吃生猛海鮮，而且現在到中秋節期間的牡蠣又大又肥美，鮮甜滋味吃過保證回不去；再到高跟鞋教堂、布袋543及厝味碧沙街走走拍照，玩上一整天都沒問題。
