嘉義林管處與嘉義市天文協會9、10月將在阿里山國家森林遊樂區推出3梯次「仲秋遊星空」天文生態營（圖：嘉義林管處提供）
林務局嘉義林區管理處與嘉義市天文協會攜手，於9、10月推出「仲秋遊星空」天文生態體驗營，在秋高氣爽的時節，到阿里山國家森林遊樂區放下一切煩惱，跟著地球自轉，感受星際飄移，歡迎喜歡星星的民眾，一起來阿里山遨遊星空。

在無光害的阿里山國家森林遊樂區內海拔2,488公尺的小笠原360度無障礙觀景平台，享受著黑暗中被繁星包圍的星空世界，觀看著秋季星空述說著柏修斯（英仙座）如何利用蛇髮女妖梅杜莎首級，騎著飛馬（天馬座）打敗鯨魚海怪（鯨魚座）拯救安卓美達（仙女座）之神話。

阿里山仲秋星空之旅，由受過培訓及天文協會認證，經過層層關卡才能成為正式的嘉義市天文協會講師，現場提供專業儀器並解說天文知識及星座故事；還有由嘉義林管處培力，並通過考核認證的導覽解說員帶領遊客認識阿里山國家森林遊樂區內大自然生態奧秘、林業開發歷史現場及人的生活歷史等豐富內容。

活動包含介紹季節常見星座、星座故事傳說、園區內自然生態體驗、夜間觀星、賞日出、搭乘小火車等，活動內容豐富，本次活動只有3梯次，名額有限，請民眾儘早報名，以免向隅。
