昨日是登記參選的第一天，也是選戰倒數90天，周春米在8位孕婦媽媽與孕婦爸爸的陪同下，來到屏東縣選委會，登記參選2022年屏東縣縣長參選人。
周春米說，邀請孕婦朋友陪同登記，是為了宣示打造一個充滿希望的屏東，孕育出屏東的新希望，也特別製作高鐵希望列車的手舉牌，代表大力爭取的高鐵南延將為帶來屏東進步，期許未來在她的執政下，透過五大核心產業：科技、農漁、觀光、綠能、長照，除了讓長者安居之外，也要讓青年回鄉，孩童快樂成長！

周春米補充，特地選在9點45分是因為當年在司法院受訓時，她的座號是18號，她也擔任溫馨扶輪社第18屆社長，2016年第一次擔任不分區立委時也正好是第18名，9點45分相加剛好等於18，她也笑稱18是她的幸運數字。
周春米在最後高喊口號，「屏東向前，希望城市」，期待未來能夠延續潘孟安縣長的五星執政好成績，寫下歷史，成為屏東第一女縣長，帶領屏東向前，打造希望城市。
