嘉義縣體育會辦理「運動i臺灣2.0-樂在運動、活的健康之成果展演暨社團聯誼嘉年華活動」，內容包含室內民俗運動，室外多項球類運動，參與的民眾涵蓋男女老幼，表演內容精采絕倫，氣氛熱鬧。

樂在運動、活的健康之成果展演暨社團聯誼嘉年華活動形式多元，室內的民俗運動涵蓋長青舞蹈、婦女土風舞、健康操、元極舞、街舞，及結合地方特色的火燈太鼓舞和運動舞蹈等15個表演項目；室外球類運動有慢壘、網球、排球、羽球等球賽，活動多樣豐富，令人目不暇給。翁章梁縣長、嘉義縣副議長陳怡岳、縣議員詹琬蓁、體育會理事長羅信富等人蒞臨現場，為所有民眾加油打氣。

嘉義縣體育會理事長羅信富指出，感謝翁縣長支持縣內體育發展，將選手參賽補助與培訓經費大幅提升，並持續推行運動獎金加碼等多項政策，為體育發展注入強心劑。十月的全民運由嘉義體育會辦理，將於10月8日至13日隆重舉行，期望全台灣的參賽選手能在嘉義縣擁有最優質的賽事體驗，也邀請鄉親善加利用體育館，縣府與體育會將持續推動各項社區運動發展，希望大家保持良好運動習慣，讓身心永保健康。

翁章梁縣長表示，為迎接111年全民運動會及未來民眾使用完善性，嘉義縣立體育館修繕工程經費約1億多元，歷經兩年建設，從裡到外全面翻新，賦予場館全新面貌，提供羽球、籃球、足球、桌球及地下室舞蹈教室等多功能運動場所，讓縣民享受更好的運動環境，請嘉義鄉親務必來體驗，同時也邀請全國民眾十月來嘉義參與全民運盛事、欣賞國慶煙火，感受嘉義迷人魅力。
