天下雜誌9月20日公佈2022年縣市長施政滿意度調查，屏東縣長潘孟安獲得全國22市縣的第一名，這是潘縣長連續四年蟬聯第一，打破天下雜誌施政調查的紀錄，連續四年稱霸。
對於在卸任前夕能夠接連受到雜誌民調肯定，潘孟安縣長滿心感激又激動，感謝鄉親的支持，他說，將近8年的時間，他一直抱著跟時間賽跑的心情，把一天24小時當48小時在用，縣府團隊也跟著沒日沒夜，我們高度的合作，沒有路就自己找路，有路就攜手向前衝，謝謝屏東鄉親看到也感受到，用高滿意度來給予肯定。

潘縣長表示，屏東同時也在天下雜誌幸福城市大調查中獲得非六都組「照護王」，這是他就任以來一直在推動的「安居大社區」，一村里一據點，將近8年來在全縣設置391處社區照顧關懷據點，讓長輩能夠開心安老，「總算不負鄉親的託付」！
依據天下雜誌新聞稿指出，《天下》縣市調查包括兩項調查，一為《縣市長施政滿意度調查》，一為《幸福城市大調查》。其中，位在國境之南的屏東縣長潘孟安打破《天下》調查新紀錄，連續四年稱霸；而幸福城市大調查具體呈現，即將卸任或競選連任首長的四年完整政績；在非六都組，屏東縣長潘孟安就任時訂下目標，443個村里至少都要有一個據點，截至8月底，全縣已有391個據點，社區照顧關懷據點涵蓋率75.2%，成為非六都組的照護王。

縣府表示，潘孟安縣長自2014年12月25日就任以來，一直秉持著「以人為本」的施政理念，從教育、青年返鄉、產業招商、長照社福、醫療、交通等推動全人照顧政策，從零歲到65歲以上攏顧著著，近年更融入美學、創意，掀起屏東美學熱潮，讓屏東從國境之南一躍成為全國矚目焦點，最重要的是凝聚鄉親的光榮感，以身為屏東人為傲，這是最難得的。
潘孟安縣長強調，從政開始，就是對家鄉有一份願景、一份責任，儘管一路上或有風雨或有波瀾，但不論在哪個位子，他都是戰戰兢兢不敢鬆懈，他說，「我會繼續打拼到縣長任期最後一天，回饋鄉親的熱愛」！
