第43屆華宗盃排球錦標賽今(1)日於台南學甲熱血開打，共有來自全國19縣市340隊近6,000名隊職員參與盛會，台南市長黃偉哲親自出席開幕典禮，與現場貴賓一同開球，為參賽的選手們熱情加油。

黃偉哲表示，邁入第43年的華宗盃排球錦標賽是為了紀念陳故省議員華宗先生堅守正道、公正無私的精神和對地方建設的卓著貢獻，為國內具有指標性的排球賽事。華宗盃除了是國內四大排球盃賽外，是學甲區的地方重要特色活動之一，也是疫情之後全國最大的排球賽事，未來也希望更升級軟硬體設施，讓選手及球迷都能開心舒適在台南看球，參與熱血的運動賽事。

華宗盃排球錦標賽去(110)年因疫情取消辦理，今(111)年為了擴大參與並增加賽事的豐富度，南市府也特別規劃多元化的周邊活動，結合學甲虱目魚產業文化季在華宗公園設置特色農產品攤位，另外還有由文化局結合藝術進區系列展演，今明兩日晚間7時學甲慈濟宮安排「奇幻馬戲-島嶼怪誌貓將軍」及「小橘子樂團」等演出。

體育局長陳良乾表示，為了讓來自全國各地的排球選手能深刻體驗台南的美，體育局、觀光旅遊局及學甲區公所共同規劃選手觀光列車，讓選手能在賽後遊覽學甲及周邊觀光景點，包含七股鹽山、水晶教堂、井仔腳瓦盤鹽田等。另一方面，市府亦提供選手及家屬參觀所轄古蹟名勝之優惠，希望讓來參與華宗盃排球賽的隊伍在激烈的競賽之暇，也能撥空走訪台南古蹟景點、體驗文化藝術洗禮，深入台南的人文魅力及濃厚的人情味。

體育局表示，本屆賽事邀請中華健康救護促進協會協助規劃各競賽場地救護工作，由成功大學協助支援運動傷害防護員，感謝凱樂斯及新禾公司贊助AED設備及救護車後送支援工作，提供賽事完善的救護規劃；另感謝達樂友貿易公司（DLIVE）贊助，觀眾在賽事期間打卡標記「111年全國第43屆華宗盃排球錦標賽」即可獲得特色紀念鑰匙圈，各競賽場地限量提供400份，歡迎全國熱愛排球的球迷前來學甲觀賽，為選手們加油聲援。
