奇美醫學中心無菸有成，榮獲「全球無菸醫院國際金獎」

奇美醫學中心戒菸團隊成立10年，今(2022) 年榮獲衛生福利部國民健康署推薦角逐2022年「全球無菸健康照護服務網絡(Global Network for Tobacco Free Healthcare Services, GNTH)」舉辦的「無菸醫院國際金獎」認證，於世界各國推薦參賽的候選醫院中，以優秀成效通過三階段資料評選，最終榮獲無菸醫院國際金獎的殊榮。

奇美醫學中心院長林宏榮表示，奇美醫學中心致力於推動健康促進，並成立菸檳酒防治推動小組，全力塑造無菸醫院及環境，由專業的戒菸醫師及戒菸衛教師幫助癮君子戒除菸癮，自成立戒菸團隊2012年1月至2022年10月以來，已幫助9,702位個案戒菸，成功率達39.4%，並連續四年榮獲國民健康署「戒菸服務品質改善措施」績優醫事機構及臺南市政府衛生局「無菸醫院服務品質提升計畫」績效卓越獎殊榮，2019年更榮獲國民健康署「戒菸服務品質改善措施」戒菸效益王。

根據世界衛生組織統計，菸草每年使800多萬人失去生命。在臺灣，每年約有2萬5,000名死於吸菸及近3,000名死於二手菸害，平均不到20分鐘就有1人因菸害而失去生命。奇美醫學中心家庭醫學部部長李璧伊指出：奇美醫學中心為落實無菸政策，建立跨科別(12科別58位醫師)的戒菸服務，積極發展跨團隊整合照護。於戒菸班課程中強化個人舒壓與拒菸技巧，並外展到職場駐診，提供勞工戒菸一條龍服務，目前已輔導4家公司並達到55%的戒菸成功率；另外，為喚起莘莘學子對於菸害的重視與關注，奇美醫學中心團隊深入校園推廣菸害防治，透過青年學子喜愛的桌遊，達到寓教於樂及推廣健康休閒活動的目標，提升青少年的健康識能。

奇美醫學中心專案副院長暨菸檳酒防治推動小組召集人陳綉琴表示：奇美醫學中心週一到週六皆有戒菸門診，為了營造空氣清新的無菸醫院，醫院內外處處可見禁菸的標誌及標語。希望民眾共同成為菸害宣導的傳播種子，從無菸醫院到無菸家庭、無菸社區、無菸職場，全力做好菸害防制，「無菸醫院做乎好，民眾健康沒煩惱」。
