頂新集團油品事件賠償統一集團1.7億元 將全數捐贈公益

統一 (1216-TW) 今 (28) 日指出，2014年頂新集團油品事件波及統一企業、統一超商及統清公司，造成上述三家公司業務及商譽重大損害，已依法向頂新集團求償，現雙方達成民事和解，頂新集團同意賠償統一企業、統一超商及統清公司，合計金額1.7億元；此三家公司依先前對社會大眾之承諾，規劃賠償金額扣除相關法律訴訟成本及費用後，淨額約1.5億元，將全數用於公益捐贈。
統一指出，公益捐贈由統一企業統籌分配，擬用於統一企業集團內外公益團體，包含集團內統一企業慈善事業基金會、好鄰居文教基金會、千禧之愛健康基金會及集團外公益慈善團體，如中華社會福利聯合勸募協會、數十家慈善公益團體、消費者保護團體。
同時，規劃購置數百台電腦贈與偏鄉中小學、數部救護車、山區醫療巡迴車、到宅沐浴車及數百台輪椅贈與醫療單位。
上述捐贈計劃須經三家公司董事會通過後執行，預計2023年1月份啟動捐贈活動。
