交通部核准台南永康鐵路地下化 增設康橋站服務再加倍

為改善台南永康地區鐵路沿線交通瓶頸，台南市政府於108年4月10日再次將各界關注的永康段鐵路地下化可行性研究案函送交通部，並依各相關單位意見完成修正報告，昨(21)日全案順利獲交通部核准，並於今(22)日送行政院核定，未來預計將改建永康、大橋為地下站，並於二站間增設康橋地下站，屆時不僅可讓旅客享有更好的鐵路服務，更可徹底解放永康開發潛力，帶動市區發展動能。

台南市市長黃偉哲表示，交通部核定永康鐵路地下化可行性研究，象徵永康地區長期以來因鐵路廊帶阻隔所限縮的發展潛能將獲得釋放，永康地區23.3萬的民眾也將不再受鐵路平交道阻隔之苦，永康地區沿線車站每年約500萬人次的進出旅客也會有更好的鐵路服務，加上永康創意設計園區的積極開發，將來永康地區將扮演串連市區與南科的重要角色，並有效擴大台南市蛋黃區的範圍、成為重要的城市發展引擎，永康地區華麗轉身將指日可待。
交通局局長王銘德指出，永康段鐵路地下化全長6.72公里，預計可消除3處平交道及3座橫交陸橋，並改建永康、大橋為地下站，另於二站間增設康橋地下站，可行性研究案通過後，將由鐵道局進行綜合規劃，預計興建期9年；完工後可達成縫合鐵道兩側道路，建構鐵道兩側完整道路系統，以提升整體道路系統的可及性目的，並達成均衡都市發展，將帶動營造業及關聯產業發展，而既有3座陸橋，於立體化完成後亦可拆除，以提升計畫區內道路服務水準。
