自今（20）日起放寬室內佩戴口罩規定，指揮中心官員也將口罩摘下。
指揮中心日前宣布自今（20）日起放寬室內佩戴口罩規定，指揮中心官員也將口罩摘下，指揮中心指揮官王必勝表示，今日是口罩鬆綁第二階段，被問到何時可全面免戴口罩？王必勝則表示說5月的機會是有的。不過交通部提醒，公共運輸及場站仍須全程佩戴口罩，交通部提醒民眾，於公共運輸之車廂、船舶、航空器等運具及場站付費區或管制區，應依規定全程佩戴口罩。

民眾楊小姐在受訪時表示，主要還是看場合，如果是在室外會考慮將口罩拿下來，「至於室內則是看空間，基本上還是會帶著口罩」，另外他也提到，接下來將進入夏季，天氣太熱也是他「脫口罩」考慮的因素之一。另外也有民眾表示，因為自己有過敏體質，本來就習慣戴口罩，所以有沒有解禁其實也沒有差太多。
記者實際走訪賣場發現，室內多是人也是將口罩戴著，戴口罩似乎已成為一種習慣，即使解封也習慣戴著。台南市長黃偉哲也在受訪表示，口罩令鬆綁要配合更高的疫苗接種率，「命是自己的」，民眾該施打的疫苗要去打，在5月天氣變熱前希望大家還是戴上口罩比較安全。
