2023WBC世界棒球經典賽明日開打！昨（6）日台灣隊與富邦悍將進行最後一場熱身賽，台灣隊棒子持續火燙，林立連兩戰開轟，張育成同場炸裂敬禮展現「永遠忠誠」。球迷寵兒「天哥」郭天信也敲出兩分打點的三壘安打，先前他因熱身賽表現欠佳飽受球迷批評，今天用球棒粉碎質疑。終場台灣隊以7:2擊敗富邦悍將。

從2月14日對決味全龍的自辦熱身賽開始，包含最後兩場官辦熱身賽，台灣隊熱身賽10戰全勝，氣勢旺盛，期待在正式比賽中延續不敗神話。熱身賽期間台灣隊打擊表現優異，砲聲隆隆。前（5）日對決中信兄弟的官辦熱身賽中更敲出13支安打，其中包含三轟，但投手群表現不佳丟掉九分。綜觀整個熱身賽，投手群可說是中華隊的隱憂，主力投手江少慶和鄧愷威都有控球不穩的狀況出現。面對五日四戰加上晚場接午場的地獄賽程，投手該如何調度，考驗教練團的智慧。

明（8）日晚上7點，台灣隊首戰將面對巴拿馬。外傳巴拿馬有可能將派出梅西亞Humberto Mejía擔綱對戰台灣隊的先發投手。梅西亞擁聯盟的出賽紀錄，去年在墨西哥聯盟出賽，今年剛與大都會簽下小聯盟合約。投手陣容是巴拿馬最強悍的一環，14名投手中有3位現役MLB選手以及4位曾上過MLB的選手。至於台灣隊是否推出狀態最好的胡智為先發，靜待教練公布消息。

美國職棒名人堂球星、洋基隊傳奇守護神李維拉（Mariano Rivera）昨（6）日搭機抵達台灣，巴拿馬裔的他將擔任3/8台灣與巴拿馬一戰的開球嘉賓。
