南市落實照顧長者承諾 黃偉哲：7月起開辦老人健保費補助

老有所養、減輕長輩生活負擔，是黃偉哲就任市長以來，一直努力推動的目標。
黃偉哲昨(21)日在市政會議宣布，將於今年7月起，在排富條件下，補助65歲以上長者或55歲以上原住民健保費用，全市符合資格的對象都可受惠。
黃偉哲表示，回應市民的期待，台南市政府責無旁貸，在遵守財政紀律的前提下，今年已將青銀福利、便捷交通、清廉勤政三大施政方向一一落地執行。省最多的錢，是為了做最好的福利；勤儉持家，是為了扶老攜幼，這是對自己的要求，更是對臺南市民的承諾。
社會局說明，台南市65歲以上長者或55歲以上原住民，設籍滿1年，將獲得台南市政府健保費補助，每人每月補助額最高可達826元。再者，為了便民服務、免去長者及其子女舟車勞頓之苦，健保費將由臺南市政府逕行向健保署繳納，對長者及其子女而言，可說省錢又省力。
社會局表示，在一、為符合社會公平正義原則；二、穩定政府財務平衡；三、兼顧建設預算等三大因素之下，將最近一年綜合所得總額合計未達申報標準或綜合所得稅稅率未超過5%者列入補助對象，全市65歲以上長者或55歲以上原住民，符合資格者都可受惠，將自今(112)年7月起開辦。
社會局補充，除了老人健保補助，台南市近年來積極推動各項老人福利，不僅率先六都達成一國中學區一日照，在長照服務涵蓋率及社區照顧關懷據點服務涵蓋率等政策項目，也都是六都第一；此外，也持續針對弱勢長者，提供免費裝置假牙、中低收入老人住宅設施設備改善及中低收入老人重病住院看護費用補助等各項福利，並透過申辦量已突破20萬張的敬老卡，優惠全市長輩免費搭乘公車。
