歐冠四強點燃戰火 曼城與皇家馬德里展開頂尖對決

台灣時間5/10(三)凌晨三點，本賽季歐冠四強正式登場，首場比賽將由衛冕軍皇家馬德里在主場迎戰曼城。兩支勁旅去年就在歐冠四強碰頭，曼城主場先以4-3擊敗皇馬取得優勢。第二場回到皇馬主場，皇馬在總比數5-3落後的情況下完成驚天逆轉，正規時間結束前兩分鐘內連進兩球，將總比數扳平並拖進延長賽，延長賽靠著Benzema的12碼罰球殺死比賽。
今年皇馬在歐冠小組賽輸了一場比賽，16強先是6:2(總比分)擊敗利物浦，8強以4:0(總比分)打敗切爾西。四強首戰後衛Eder Militao因為累積兩張黃牌不能上場，Ferland Mendy和Dani Ceballos 則是傷勢的關係無法上陣。總教練Carlo Ancelotti 表示，甫傷癒復出的中場大將「魔笛」Luka Modric將擔任先發 。皇馬的兩位前場球員近況火熱，法國神鋒Benzema在四月完成三次帽子戲法。邊路好手Vinicius Jr.今年的10場歐冠比賽中繳出6進球6助攻的精湛表現，是曼城不得不重兵看防的對象。上週皇馬擊敗奧薩蘇納競技拿下西班牙盃冠軍，但是，他們在西甲賽場上正遭遇二連敗。
Vinicius Jr.的前場破壞力會為曼城後場帶來不少麻煩（圖＿Real Madrid CF）。
曼城方面，今年他們在歐冠賽場上還沒輸過球。16強8:1(總比分)血洗RB萊比錫，8強4:1(總比分)擊敗拜仁慕尼黑。後衛大將Nathan Ake因腿部傷勢無法出戰四強賽，曼城預計將推上Kyle Wlker先發，防堵Vinicius Jr.的高速破壞。曼城的近況可說是近乎完美，2月以來連續20場比賽不敗，英超賽場上10連勝中，坐實「宇宙城」的名號。「魔人」 Haaland本賽季已攻進51顆進球，包含歐冠賽場上的12顆，曾在與RB萊比錫一役中繳出5顆入球的恐怖表現。而Jack Grealish、Kevin De Bruyne和Rodri等人的狀態也正值高峰。面對本屆歐冠中失球最少的皇馬(4顆)， 曼城的中前場是否能有效串聯、維持攻擊火力將會是比賽關鍵。

本場比賽是雙方第九次交手，前八次交手兩隊各拿下三勝以及兩場平手。在歐冠賽場上的皇馬彷彿擁有「歐冠靈氣」，2013年至今五度奪冠。最近12場歐冠比賽拿下了10場，主場近10場贏下9勝。皇馬的主帥Carlo Ancelotti 曾四度奪下歐冠冠軍，是史上奪冠最多的教練。而曼城總教練Pep Guardiola曾在2009以及2011賽季率領西甲勁旅巴塞隆納二度奪冠，但是在執教拜仁以及曼城時皆未能奪下大耳朵盃。
談到對決皇馬，Pep Guardiola表示：「我們不是來復仇的，這是另一個機會。我們總有一天會拿下冠軍，我們是為了冠軍才來這裡。」
