臺南台鋼獵鷹結束短暫休兵，今(3)日正式開訓。總經理錢韋成勉勵球員：「希望大家提早收心，新賽季唯一目標總冠軍，從備戰開始就要展現爭冠的強烈企圖心。台鋼集團首重『紀律』，要打造一支有紀律的球隊。」
開訓日由體能教練郭涵博為球員進行運動表現測試，郭涵博表示：「這兩天以恢復為主，首先確保大家身體健康，並循序漸進提高強度。球隊球風輪轉較快，備戰期會注重在體能訓練。」

劉孟竹總教練暑假期間擔任世大運男籃總教練，出發前仍會南北兩邊跑。劉孟竹表示：「獵鷹教練團愈來愈完整，目前也設定好休賽季階段性目標。接下來也會安排獵鷹與世大運代表隊為期5天的集訓，讓雙方都能吸收更多經驗。」
台鋼獵鷹今日起全力備戰新賽季，前兩週的恢復期安排當週三天進行團隊訓練。另兩日為重訓體能及個人技術訓練，之後將比照賽季期間的訓練排程，每日分兩階段進行。獵鷹球團提早備戰讓球員進入賽季狀態，期許獵鷹能更進化衝擊總冠軍。
