U12世界盃少棒開賽倒數10日（圖＿中華棒協）。
2023 U12世界盃今年在台灣開打，今日稍早公布台灣少棒隊18人正式名單，領軍的總教練是花蓮縣太巴塱國小少棒隊總教練陳明仁。台灣隊預計20日前往台南亞太少棒主球場，熟悉場地及夜間燈光。28日首戰迎戰澳洲隊。
台南市政府表示，這次賽會有來自亞洲、歐洲、北美洲、中美洲及南美洲的球隊在台南亞太棒球場同場競技，加上隨隊親友團，人數可望上看300人，是自Covid-19疫情解封以來，台南市單次最大規模體育賽事國民外交場合。
