卡努颱風挾強風豪雨肆虐台灣，也將大量海漂垃圾吹上海口沙灘，在父親節前夕海口業者邀集住客、海洋委員會、屏東縣政府(屏東縣海洋及漁業事務管理所)、車城鄉公所、屏東環保局、在地社區民眾、恆春古城國際同濟會、墾丁玩家、大仁科技大學等單位一起淨灘，共度一個與眾不同且具意義的父親節！

淨灘活動發起人墾丁長灘飯店的蔡承憲執行長表示淨灘活動提醒我們身為大地之子，要感恩孕育人類的偉大海洋和養育我們的大地之父！爸爸在每個人心目中就像大山般雄偉，像大海般廣闊，是時候把握機會，一起為大自然表達感恩！
