泰國班昌(Ban Chang)與德國Tönnjes C.A.R.D. International GmbH及Toennjes Leon公司於16日上午在班昌簽署三方合作備忘錄(MOU)。
泰國班昌(Ban Chang)與德國Tönnjes C.A.R.D. International GmbH及Toennjes Leon公司於2023年8月16日上午在班昌簽署三方合作備忘錄(MOU)，以領先全球的德國血統數位車牌融合亞洲特性，台德國際合作輸出項目與泰國經濟發展主軸吻合，將在班昌落地實踐大規模的服務驗證(POS)，該區域的大車、機車、公務汽車等將全面裝設數位車牌，為班昌建構國際高度與數位韌性的智慧交通解決方案，泰國即將超車台灣，實踐智慧國家。
班昌對外發佈即將全面使用數位車牌(IDePlate)，市長 Mr. Suchin Poonhiran表示「泰國政府重點建設東部經濟走廊(EEC)，鎖定班昌打造成為第一座具指標的智慧城市，吸引全球高科技業者進駐，現在已經佈設5G高覆蓋網路基礎建設，再來引進的數位車牌必能為班昌建立智慧交通基礎，以及優化交控管理系統，提高人民的交通安全，相信在班昌完成服務驗證之後，下一步將擴散全國。」

Toennjes Leon代表 陳宥誠董事長表示「數位車牌係在車牌上嵌入晶片，具高加密與雷射防偽等高安全功能，如同車輛的身分證可作為車聯網的辨識與預警，提供管理單位智慧交通機制，提醒機車與所有車輛的安全路徑，降低交通事故風險。此次台德合作前進泰國，先以班昌作為服務試點，再來會不斷擴張，我們不僅提供設計開發、系統整合與營運服務，更是以亞洲生產基地為泰國需求提供資源與能量。」
