這些蔬果不起眼但健康營養 半價推廣好康就在新市農會

行政院農委會推動「零飢餓」計畫，預定在全台22處農會農民直銷站成立「惜食專區」，首波5個示範點中，台南市新市區農會是南部唯一一處，6日正式上架開賣，農會整合青農，提供賣相不佳但品質無虞的蔬果，並以市價5折的價格銷售，且所得捐助給弱勢團體，民眾搶便宜還能做公益，一舉數得。

運往果菜批發市場的蔬果，在外觀上有一定要求，就算內在品質過關，也沒法裝箱販售，通常會直接在農田銷毀，另外就是傳統運銷還得算上包裝材料、運輸等成本，如果拍賣價格不佳，農民也會選擇棄置田間不採收，無形中造成浪費，因此推動惜食專區，減輕農民損失，消費者也能找好康。
新市區農會總幹事李美嬅表示，惜食專區的生鮮農產品風味、口感都跟市售蔬果無異，而且一樣接受農藥殘留檢驗、田間管理把關等，指示在外表上比較不討喜，但價格僅有市售價格一半，消費者選購絕對是「不吃虧、佔便宜」。
新市農會惜食專區即日起開始販售，產品包括地瓜、玉米、胡蘿蔔、青椒及各項蔬菜等，且價格都是平常賣價的5折甚至一半不到，相當划算，台南市青農聯誼會新市分會會長陳正明說，以往這些賣相不好或尺寸在規格外的蔬果，大多會做為加工品，推廣惜食專區，增加消費者對NG生鮮食材的認同，也不會浪費食材，是件很好的事。
