奇美醫學中心加護病房護理長張明娟，去年因為腎結石引起泌尿道感染住院，讓她一夕之間從照護者變成被照顧的病人，後來又因胃出血轉入加護病房，一度出現呼吸衰竭、生命徵象不穩等狀況，受到疫情影響，家人無法到院探訪，所幸醫護團隊啟動包括精準科研、精準教學、精準服務及精準護理等精準照護，讓她順利康復，現在已經回歸工作崗位。

48歲的「阿長」張明娟說，自己在加護病房任職近30年，照顧過許多極重症患者，但自己面對生死關頭，躺在病床上時，心中還是惶惶不安，但透過奇美團隊精準照護，減少傳統人力監控時的操作，能夠有更多時間休息，在照護團隊的協助下，透過通訊軟體即時收到母親及2名女兒為自己打氣加油，床邊也掛滿同事的加油看板及祈福紙鶴，都成為她勇敢對抗病魔的力量。

奇美醫學中心3C加護病房副護理長侯國閔表示，受到新冠肺炎疫情影響，重症病人轉入加護病房後，家屬禁止到院探訪，醫護團隊提供暖心、精準的健康照護模式，在精準科研部分，依護理需求及感控原則，設計「無線流量趨勢監視警示系統」，即時掌控病人的飲食、體液變化等，可提升相關記錄準確性及工作效率，也可減少醫護團隊與隔離病人的接觸感染；精準教學部分，與南台科技大學攜手合作，研發「心臟學習模擬教具」，以互動學習方式，輔助醫護人員快速學習心臟急症、有效提供醫療決策。
此外，在精準服務方面，開發並推廣「互動多媒體衛教」，提供病人及家屬學習互動平台，另設計「衛教一點通」電子化衛教菜單，掃描QR code就可連結衛教資訊，讓家屬輕鬆下載「自製管灌食」衛教影片，學習照護知識及技能；家屬還能透過視訊和醫療團隊溝通，提升對團隊信賴感、降低家屬的不安，病床旁設有「互動留言板」，日日更新病人的意識程度、營養、排便、呼吸訓練，睡眠狀況，家屬能立即掌握病人24小時最新基本狀況，並能在留言板留下打氣話語。
