奧地利當局表示過去3天內發生100多起雪崩，期間更造成9人死亡。
根據報導，奧地利過去3天內發生100多起雪崩，期間更造成9人死亡。
奧地利救援部門表示大部分雪崩出現在提洛爾（Tyrol）西部地區，地方當局稱「過去3天發生約100起雪崩事件，這種情況史無前例」，更警告未來會有更多事件發生。
警方透露「光是4日就有5人死亡」，一個由導遊和4名滑雪客組成的團體被雪崩捲走、最終只有1人倖存，他設法呼救並被直升機空運救援。另外還有一名60歲的男子和61歲妻子在別處進行越野滑雪時被雪崩吞沒。
5日也有一名58歲的奧地利人在因斯布魯克（Innsbruck）附近遇難，另有4人受傷。據悉，奧地利整個周末都出現大量降雪。
近年奧地利每年被雪崩奪走約20人的性命，直到近2年疫情導致旅客大幅減少才稍微趨緩。

Today, I went to the beach front with my children. I found a
sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said
“You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She
placed the shell to her ear and screamed. There was
a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear. She never wants to go back!
