法國共產黨總統候選人魯塞昨晚在電視節目表示「台灣屬於中國」，言論在推特引發熱議，並遭各界反駁。網友一面倒力挺台灣為主權國家，也有人批評魯塞對國際政治一無所知。
法國電視知名政論節目C dans l’air近期規劃大選特輯，邀請總統大選候選人談論政見，接受不同領域的專家學者提問。昨晚節目邀請極右派民族陣線（FN）主席瑪琳雷朋（Marine Le Pen）與共產黨候選人魯塞（Fabien Roussel）受訪。
節目主題為法國面對世界挑戰，主持人詢問魯塞：「台灣是否為中國？」魯塞首先支吾其詞：「兩個…是個國家…台灣…。」他重新調整後說：「台灣，屬於中國。」主持人則回覆：「是嗎？」
魯塞指出，「應該遵守一國兩制，就像香港一樣」，並表示方才自己在搜尋「一國兩制」這個詞彙。
此時一旁的巴黎政治學院（Sciences Po）國際研究中心（CERI）主任、中國研究學者鮑佳佳（Stéphanie Balme）出聲表示並非如此，指香港的情況與台灣不同。
魯塞繼續表示，美國與歐洲國家不承認台灣，主持人接話：「承認的都被制裁了。」魯塞說：「沒錯，所以這也是與中國外交關係的一環。」
但他同時不贊成中國對香港祭出的國安法，也希望台灣人的權利受到尊重。然而他卻差點把「台灣人」說成「泰國人」。
魯塞表示，情況很複雜，「鑑於台灣承受的緊張情勢、台灣人想要主權與獨立的意志，以及想要如現在一樣進行貿易的可能性，但同時也要遵守我們與中國的關係」。
他在節目中強調，若當選，將盡力維持與中國的對話，同時讓台灣人的權利受到尊重，並表示雖然法國官方不承認台灣的獨立，但卻與台北維持官方的雙邊關係。
這段影片精華在推特貼出後，13小時內已獲得7.7萬次觀看與上千則留言與轉推；而相同時段張貼的其他訪問片段一般卻只有幾千、至多1萬的觀看次數，可見魯塞台灣相關言論引發各界關注。
除網友外，許多記者、政治人物與學者也在推特駁斥魯塞的言論。有逾3萬跟隨者的法國國會記者威爾克（Nils Wilcke）寫道：「魯塞關於台灣的言論是重大錯誤…誰屬於中國，才不是台灣。總統候選人的國際政策令人尷尬。」
知名記者暨作家威爾（Claude Weill）則諷刺：「當我們遇到沒準備的題目…魯塞沒料到會被問到台灣問題，好孤單的時刻。」重點週刊（Le Point）駐亞洲特派員佛洛赫斯（Jérémy André Florès）則批評魯塞一點都不了解議題，只會生硬地反芻北京的論述。
歐洲議會安全與國防小組委員會主席洛瓦索（Nathalie Loiseau）在推特指出：「我們發現魯塞把台灣和香港相比，把一切都混為一談。」
法國國民議會友台小組成員博多黑（Eric Bothorel）則回應：「台灣是主權國家。為這個民主政體、其人民與總統加油。」經濟學家、中部市鎮薩巴札市（Cébazat）市長納維（Flavien Neuvy）也說：「這場總統大選的程度令人痛心。」
法國策略研究基金會（FRS）研究員波恩達茲（Antoine Bondaz）批評魯塞顯現對議題缺乏認知，對國際議題相當「業餘」，是不合格的總統人選。「香港屬於中華人民共和國，台灣則不是。沒有什麼一國兩制好『遵守』的。」
另外，也有許多網友出聲力挺台灣，反對魯塞的言論，如「這些人不斷講著人權，卻否定台灣人與烏克蘭人的人民自決權。」、「魯塞先生，台灣屬於它的人民，而共產黨則屬於過去。」
也有網友表示：「魯塞先生，要做總統應該要學習地理與國際政治。台灣不屬於中國，它是有中華文化和語言的主權國家。香港屬於中國，這對為民主奮戰與犧牲的人來說是個不幸。」
