出身台南將軍道教世家的林振賢，上午在台南將軍漚汪文衡殿廟埕，赤腳爬上近4層樓高的刀梯，遙拜江西龍虎山天師府，經多位資深道長見證，完成閱籙陞職登刀梯大典，正式晉升道長，吸引上千人到場觀禮。

林振賢的父親林青雲就是今天參與見證的道長團之一，林青雲師承名列台南歷史名人的已故道長金登富，在嘉南海線一帶相當知名，也曾主持過佳里金唐殿（蕭壠香）的五朝王醮法會，林振賢從年輕時就跟著父親學習，今天能在父母親到場見證下完成儀式，內心相當感動。

約4層樓高的刀梯以檳榔樹樹幹製成，共有36階，均是開光過的刀片，中間貼上符令，儀式開始時，另名道長擔任先鋒官先行登梯，林振賢再接續上場，她經過7天的齋戒，並遵循古禮完成科儀，再赤腳緩步爬上最高處，登頂後稟告神尊後並向地面擲筊，擲出聖筊後撒下平安符，再走下刀梯，最後換上象徵道長的袍服，由在場觀禮的張天師傳人見證，正式晉升。

宗教人士指出，攀爬刀梯「有眉角」，需要手腳並用，而且腳掌踩踏位置要正確，雙手也要施力，否則就會受傷，當然還要有體力與膽識，今天現場有超過上千人圍觀，成功時現場也爆出喝采聲。
