澳防長宣布加速採購飛彈 警告中國可能提前犯台

為應對俄羅斯和中國日益增加的威脅，澳洲決定加快採購長程攻擊飛彈計畫。澳洲國防部長還指出，原本預測指中國可能於2040年代入侵台灣，但現在看來，這個時間點可能提前。
美聯社報導，澳洲防長杜登今天表示，加速改善戰機和軍艦武器的計畫將耗資35億澳幣（約新台幣765億元），可望提高澳洲對潛在對手的威懾力。
杜登還告訴國內電視台：「根據一項假設，中國對台灣的侵略行動可能發生在2040年代。但我認為，現在這個時間表已被大幅壓縮。」
他說：「當我們看到烏克蘭發生的情況，俄羅斯也可能進入波蘭或歐洲其他地區。如此一來，1930年代的悲劇（指第二次世界大戰的爆發）就會重演，我們不應該讓這種狀況發生。」
根據修訂後的時間表，澳洲FA-18F超級大黃蜂戰機將在2024年之前配備美國製造的升級版聯合空對地遙攻飛彈，較原計畫提前3年。這種飛彈可讓戰機攻擊900公里外的目標。
澳洲的安薩克級巡防艦與胡巴特級驅逐艦則將於2024年配備挪威製康士博格海軍打擊飛彈，較預定時間提前5年。
澳洲公布新的武裝計畫時間表之前，索羅門群島表態有意與中國簽訂安全條約，引起區域國家反彈，因為這將允許中國在這個太平洋島國部署安全部隊。索羅門群島則堅稱，他們計劃與北京簽署協議，但不會允許中國建立軍事基地。
北京也否認企圖在這些島嶼尋求軍事立足點，並指責其他國家加劇緊張局勢。
美國太平洋艦隊司令帕帕羅4日在華府告訴媒體記者，索羅門與中國簽訂的安全條約「非常令人擔憂。」
帕帕羅說：「毫無疑問，我很擔心…這也讓我們整個西太平洋的合作夥伴非常憂心，特別是澳洲和紐西蘭。」
