大甲媽祝壽大典 信眾朝聖三跪九叩祈求疫情遠離

大甲鎮瀾宮媽祖遶境進香11日抵達嘉義縣新港鄉，12日上午8點舉辦媽祖祝壽大典，縣長翁章梁、立委陳明文、大甲鎮瀾宮董事長顏清標、奉天宮董事長何達煌率各宮廟代表頂禮膜拜，虔誠祝禱，祈求媽祖和天上眾神庇佑國泰民安，新冠肺炎早日遠離，人民安居樂業。

祝壽大典是大甲媽祖來新港遶境進香的獻敬禮儀之一，往年活動分別有筊筶、豎旗、祈安、上轎、起駕、駐駕、祈福、祝壽、回駕、安座等十個主要典禮，今年因應防疫遶境過程不開放鑽轎底，且參加人員須持3劑疫苗接種紀錄向廟方登記換發「3OK疫苗識別證」，加強各項防疫措施。

祝壽大典莊嚴隆重，信徒朝聖擠滿奉天宮前，跪拜上香祝禱求平安，典禮全程2小時，各地信徒以徒步方式跟隨媽祖神轎來到新港，眾人向媽祖上香、獻花、獻果、獻財帛、獻壽麵和壽桃、宣讀祝文、誦經祝壽、三跪九叩，見證媽祖信仰在台灣宗教文化中的力量，典禮最後由顏清標擲筊，決定回鑾時間為今晚11點。

大甲鎮瀾宮到新港奉天宮遶境進香的盛會從民國77年起，到今年已是第35年，翁章梁致詞時熱情歡迎信徒來新港，並表示相信媽祖一定會保護台灣這塊土地，挺過疫情侵擾。
大甲鎮瀾宮歷史悠久，最早是在清朝由先民自湄洲媽祖祖廟奉請天上聖母神像來台，後因地方縉紳見香火鼎盛，於清雍正興建小祠，原稱天后宮，至乾隆52年擴建後正式稱為「鎮瀾宮」。
