里港分局九如分駐所同仁於111年04月29日03時10分許接獲鄭姓駕駛人至所報案，於九如路二段發生交通事故，立即派員前往處理。
經查，於上述時、地，鄭姓駕駛人（男.86年次）獨自ㄧ人駕駛自小客車沿九如鄉九如路二段外側快車道南往北向直行，行經上述時地時，因駕車時睡著，車輛向右偏行，擦撞路邊水槽、檳榔攤位、普重機車、花盆、抽水馬達等物後翻車，翻車後駕駛人自行自車內爬出。鄭姓駕駛無受傷，酒測值0.45mg/l,涉嫌刑法公共危險罪，全案依法處理，後續並移送屏東地檢署偵辦。

里港分局分局長鄭頴聰呼籲，民眾如有精神不濟情形，切勿疲勞駕駛，如有飲酒情形，更勿心存僥倖駕車，可選擇搭乘大眾交通運輸工具或請親友接送，確保自身及其他用路人的行車安全。
