台南市永康區一處情趣用品店日間沒什麼客人，深夜進出的閒雜人等卻異常熱絡，遭到警方盯上，經過蒐證調查，發現情趣店是掛羊頭賣狗肉，裡面竟暗藏百家樂職業賭場，4日晚間出動警網上門查緝，當場人贓俱獲，查扣現金40萬餘元、撲克牌、籌碼、骰子等證物，許姓負責人、工作人員依賭博罪嫌送辦，賭客則依社會秩序維護法裁處。
永康警方調查，43歲許姓賭場負責人表面上經營「大人的玩具」情趣店，實際上是用來掩護賭場以躲避查緝，且夜間進入分子複雜，警方接獲線報後，由偵查隊、督察組與大灣派出所組成專案小組查緝，經一周時間蒐證，確定暗藏百家樂職業賭場，隨即報請檢察官向法院聲請搜索票，昨天深夜時分由保安警察大隊霹靂小組帶隊破門攻堅。

玩得正開心的賭客見警察上門全都愣在現場，警方當場逮獲許姓賭場負責人及黃姓等工作人員11人（含房東）和賭客7人共計18人，現場查扣現金新臺幣40萬5,400元、籌碼5885萬9300元、撲克牌16副、骰子4顆、監視器主機1臺（含鏡頭3個）等相關證物，員警笑稱，原來這才是「大人的玩具」！
警方訊後依刑法賭博罪將許姓賭場負責人、工作人員與屋主等10人移送法辦外，其他7名賭客依社會秩序維護法各裁處9000元：永康警方強調，打擊犯罪不因疫情而鬆懈，職業賭場容易衍生幫派、黑道、槍械等暴力犯罪，影響社會治安，呼籲民眾若有發現可疑之處，立即報案或與轄區派出所聯繫，警方也會全力掃蕩轄內賭場，民眾切勿以身試法。
