嘉義縣動物緊急救援專線於3月底晚間接獲山友通報，大凍山登山步道有一隻親人浪犬「大黃」左前肢嚴重受傷，家畜疾病防治所派員救援，由於山區幅員遼闊，動物保護管制人員搜索1個多小時才尋獲，花了2小時才將近30公斤的大黃揹下山緊急治療，經過截肢手術及兩個多月休養，恢復狀況良好，希望有愛心人士認養，給大黃一個溫暖的家。

常走訪大凍山步道的山友都知道，山頂觀景台附近有隻親人的大黃狗，3月底山友發現大黃左前肢嚴重受傷，通報家畜所尋獲時，發現傷口嚴重受傷、感染，獸醫師診療評估須截肢，現已恢復健康且活潑好動，考量犬隻回放山區怕再度受到傷害，加上動保教育園區還在改建，已無收容空間，希望有愛心人士認養。
常去大凍山的山友對大黃狗印象深刻，動保隊在草叢中尋獲受傷大黃時，因擔心牠亂竄決定先進行麻醉，當大黃要逃離現場時，一旁善心山友對著大黃喊說：「大黃你不要害怕，他們要帶你下山治療！」，沒想到大黃馬上停止狂奔，慢慢走到動保員旁邊趴下，靜靜等待麻醉劑生效，大黃如此有靈性，讓山友驚訝不已，隨即向動保員反應希望治療好後能再回放。

家畜所長林珮如表示，山豬吊與捕獸鋏傷害動物案件層出不窮，家畜所將積極查辦，一旦查獲違法使用造成動物受傷，將依法嚴懲，依動物保護法規定可開罰1萬5,000元至7萬5,000元，造成動物死亡者將移送法辦，最重可處2年有期徒刑、併科200萬元罰金，如造成保育類野生動物死亡，依野生動物保育法可處6月以上、5年以下有期徒刑，得併科20萬至100萬罰金，呼籲民眾不要心懷僥倖，切勿以身試法。
縣長翁章梁表示，經家畜所獸醫師檢查後，推測大黃應是不慎中了山豬吊陷阱受傷，經截肢醫療後復原良好，大黃雖已變成三腳狗，還是很活潑可愛又好動，考量肢體殘缺的犬隻難以適應野外生活，回放也怕再度受到傷害，將公開徵求愛心認養人，給殘缺犬隻一個溫暖的家。
