屏東縣東港鎮驚傳弒母悲劇！許姓男子因長期獨自照顧臥病在床張姓母親，近期二人皆染上新冠肺炎，雪上加霜不堪沉重壓力，27日下午3點多許男將其母親至二樓陽台往下丟後，再自行跳樓，母親送醫後傷重不治，許男輕傷，警方獲報有人跳樓，到場後，才發現這起悲劇。

東港分局東濱派出所於111年5月27日15時58分許接獲110報案，稱東港鎮鎮海路有人跳樓，經派員到場見母子2人躺在地上，立即通知救護車先將該母子送醫緊急救護，張女(32年次)送往安泰醫院救護無效；許男(57年次)送輔英醫院急救發現腳部外傷，無生命危險。
警方表示，經了解該戶僅其許男及其母親張女2人居住，目前均Covid-19染疫居家隔離中，張女高齡行動不便，疑為許男將其母親至二樓陽台往下丟後，再自行跳樓，雙方均送往醫院急救，張女送往安泰醫院救護無效死亡，員警前往醫院製作許男筆錄釐清相關案情，經詢問許男坦言係其將母親推下樓後再跳樓自殺，本案經偵訊後依殺人罪移送屏東地檢署偵辦，於28日法官諭知該嫌疑人逕送屏東看守所羈押。
