潮州警分局為強化治安，保護青少年暑假期間正當休閒娛樂，防範主題桌遊餐廳衍生治安事故，於日前晚間規劃執行聯合稽查專案，配合屏東縣政府衛生局、消防局、工商科及勞動暨青年發展處等單位，針對轄區內青少年易滋事及休閒娛樂場所執行臨檢稽查，查獲違反菸害防制法3件、未出示公共意外責任險2件及違反勞基法共計5件。

潮州警察分局呼籲，主題桌遊餐廳之撲克牌對弈遊戲容易變相成為賭場博弈，為防止青少年流連於不正當娛樂場所，將不定時配合縣府相關單位針對主題桌遊餐廳、電子遊戲場及複合式KTV等處所，實施聯合稽查，加強查緝相關違規及不法，以保護青少年適性發展及身心健全，同時宣導業者及大眾不得心存僥倖，從事賭博等不法行為。
分局長簡彥匡表示，暑假期間青少年安全問題，對於妨害身心健康場所，將嚴格稽查取締，並請家長管教約束子女，鼓勵從事正當休閒活動，切勿縱容少年深夜遊蕩及涉足不當場所，以避免觸法或沾染惡習及減少被害機會。
