屏東縣恆春鎮發生驚人竊盜案。恆春十八公墓納骨塔接連傳出先人的骨灰罈遭竊，恆春分局警方追查後發現一名女子涉嫌犯案，循線將這名女子逮捕，並且在她的家裡搜出12個骨灰罈，但犯嫌精神狀態不穩，亦說不出何原因竊取骨灰罈帶回住處祭拜。

恆春警方表示，社群網路刊載恆春鎮某公墓有骨灰罈失竊案，經查案發地為該處納骨堂，日前發現有幾組骨灰罈不翼而飛，民眾懷疑骨灰罈是遭竊走，恆警獲報後相當重視，由本分局偵查隊長親自率派出所及鑑識人員到場了解及採證，隨即鎖定轄內一名女性涉嫌犯案，經犯嫌帶同至藏放骨灰罈處，取出遭竊骨灰罈，被害家屬對恆警積極任事，幫他們找回被竊親人遺骨都讚賞有加。

本案經深入了解犯嫌精神狀態不穩，8月初陸陸續續至該公墓竊取骨灰罈，每次1罈，共計12罈，其本身亦說不出何原因竊取骨灰罈帶回住處祭拜，警詢後將犯嫌依違反刑法竊盜罪嫌移送屏東地方檢察署偵辦。
