台南楠西梅嶺風景區傍晚發生一起重大車禍，一輛連司機共有21人的小型遊覽車，在行經市道188線時，疑似車輛突然失控，擦撞邊坡後衝出道路，撞擊到路旁的自來水公司加壓站後才停下，撞擊力道相當大，前擋玻璃破裂、車頭受損動彈不得，所幸僅9人輕傷，警消據報到場後將人送醫，詳細肇事原因有待調查。

台南市消防局14日下午17點24分接獲報案，楠西區灣丘里香蕉山33號前發生遊覽車衝出邊坡意外，立刻派遣第二大隊、南化分隊、大內分隊、左鎮分隊、楠西分隊、玉井中隊、玉井分隊、關嶺分隊、麻豆分隊等15車26人馳援。

抵達現場時，發現遊覽車卡在路邊動彈不得，車頭受損，連司機共有21人，司機受困清醒，立刻使用機具協助司機脫困，並將車上乘客救出，皆為輕傷且意識清醒，由楠西91、南化91、玉井91分別送往麻豆新樓及衛福部新化分院救治，後續交由警方調查肇事原因。
